How do I purchase a clip? 

We require 3 things to make a purchase:

1. Signed contract
2. Initialed terms (one time only)
3. Payment 

These are available on-line under Contract, Terms and Payments located in the “Company Info” drop-down or the footer.

What information do you need from me for the contract?

We require the following information for your contract:

1. Your name and your company’s name 
2. The name of your project 
3. Which clip(s) you would like to purchase?
4. The USE of the clip (web, TV ad, entertainment, film e tc ) 
5. The TERRITORY (regional, national or worldwide)
6. The TERM (2 years, 4 years, in-perpetuity etc)

How are my clips delivered?

Your clips are delivered online via FTP download

What forms of payment do you accept?

1. Credit card: Visa and MasterCard (no American Express)
2. Wire transfer
3. Invoice (to repeat U.S. customers)

What is the turn around time for receiving a clip?

Most deliveries happen within a couple hours.  Once we have all the necessary paper work and the payment method has been arranged, we can deliver your clip immediately.

Do you offer a test clip so I can test the quality?

Yes, we offer a free clip on the homepage for sampling.  All of our footage is guaranteed to key or your money back.

Do you offer free comps?

Yes, free lower resolution comps are offered for each clip.  Just click the flash video to reveal your larger QuickTime preview video and the free comp is located to the right.  

I can’t find a clip that will work in my project.  Are there other options?

Yes, visit our ‘screeners’ page, where you can find watermarked videos that display all the footage shot of each animal (  www.greenscreenanimals.com/screeners  ).

Does GreenScreen Animals offer custom shoots?

Yes, we are a one-stop-shop for all your animal production needs. Using GSA you will save you money, time and hassle.  We have relationships with top trainers, stages and American Humane allowing us to offer you a more affordable rate on shoots. We cover everything from staffing to insurance and payroll.

Can I purchase clips directly from the website?

No, unfortunately our website is not set up for on-line purchasing but our staff is friendly and efficient.

Is all your footage priced the same?

No, we currently have two pricing structures. Many of our smaller animals (chickens,  ducks,  etc.) are provided at a lower rate than our our larger mammals (bears, lions, etc.).

Do you offer bulk discount pricing?

Why is some footage over a black background?

The footage with a black background is footage that has already been keyed so it can be delivered with an alpha-channel or over green. The price is the same.

Why do some green clips have a moving circle around them?

The green circle is called a garbage matte and is used to remove people and objects from the shot.

What is the delivered format of your footage?

We can deliver any format that works best for your project at no extra fee.  Unless specified it will be Apple ProRes 422 HQ or Apple ProRes 4444.

What format did you use for the acquisition? 

We primarily shoot with the RED camera but some of our original footage was shot at 720P on the Panasonic Vericam. The resolution in our library ranges from 4K to 720P so make sure you read the format descriptions.
